We test playlists and gaps between playlists with a maximum length of 24 hours. Therefore we recommend to avoid playlists and gaps between playlists that are longer than 24 hours. In some cases (looping of playlists) we actively avoid longer playlists.

The maximum movie length we usually test is 4 hours, the same applies to graphics elements (except infinite graphics and simple graphics).

Please keep in mind that you will not be able to jump from a gap to the next playlist in your rundown, in case the gap between the current time and the next playlist is more than 4h.

We recommend to test the playout of longer elements on a spare machine before going on air.
